I’m Michael Huang, and welcome to my blog. I’m a photographer, a physician and a father (not necessarily in that order). For over 15 years, I’ve been blessed to photograph University of Kentucky Athletics as a freelance photographer for various media outlets including Kentucky Sports Radio, Tops in Lexington, and the Cats Pause. I have literally taken hundreds of thousands of photos of the greatest fans in the world, the Big Blue Nation. I want to give back to the BBN and share photographs of the fans, complete with stories of their love of the Cats.
I will also be sharing my life through the lens of my camera. I’m so glad that you’ve found your way to this site, and I hope I can bring you a little bit of joy.
If I’ve taken a memorable photo of you at a UK game or event, and you have a story to tell please contact me at heartofbbn@gmail.com or contact me through this site. I would love to share your story.
