“I lost my mom 3 years ago. She was from Middlesboro, KY and she was a huge UK fan growing up during the Rupp and Bear Bryant era. She loved the Cats and wore an old school UK charm bracelet my entire life. Since I was an only child and never met my father, she was solely responsible for bringing me up as a passionate Wildcat fan.
I have 4 children of my own now, and I fondly remember my mom singing them to sleep when they were babies. What did she sing them? The UK fight song and My Old Kentucky Home.
